What are the C&T Allēs?
The C&T Allē Awards, presented by C&T magazine and parent company Allured Business Media, bring behind-the-scenes ingenuity in cosmetics and personal care R&D into the spotlight. The Allēs honor the science, skill, resourcefulness and creativity of innovations throughout the cosmetics R&D process — from active and base ingredients and ingredient blends, to prototype chassis/formulas (NEW for 2025!), finished formulas (indie, mass and prestige), testing methods/tools, commercial devices and digital technologies (e.g., wearables, software, platforms) for consumer users or businesses.

Judging and Eligibility
Entries will be rated by our esteemed panel of judges based on parameters including:
- novelty/practicality,
- safety/stability/efficacy,
- sustainability (if relevant),
- significance to the industry
- and more.
Eligible entries must have been launched or implemented in 2024*. Each entry requires a paid submission fee ($525) and supporting documentation. Note that an additional licensing fee applies for using the finalist and winner logos.

A Note on Early Bird 'Placeholder' Updates
If you've already entered and did so using "placeholder" content (to get the Early Bird rate), please be sure to update your data by Sept. 13!
To do this, simply log back in to your account to access the original submission and update given fields as needed.
If you have a new document to replace a previous one, simply upload it — this will "save over" the previous document.
