Prior to joining L’Oréal, Lynch spent 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry conducting drug discovery research with Roche and Purdue Pharma. He holds a bachelor's in chemistry from the University of Richmond and a doctorate in organic chemistry from Emory University. He additionally has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications across diverse fields of scientific research.

"We're truly honored to welcome Stephen Lynch to the esteemed C&T Allē Awards jury," said Rachel Grabenhofer, managing scientific editor, Cosmetics & Toiletries (C&T), and manager for the C&T Allē Awards program.

He and the other jurors will provide priceless feedback to our entrants in terms of product novelty, significance, perceived efficacy and practicality, and more."

Lynch will join an all-star cast of 24 additional expert judges for the 2025 C&T Allē Awards.

About the C&T Allēs

The C&T Allē Awards, presented by the leading cosmetics R&D journal Cosmetics & Toiletries and parent company Allured Business Media, bring behind-the-scenes ingenuity in cosmetics and personal care R&D into the spotlight. The Allēs honor the science, skill, resourcefulness and creativity of innovations throughout the cosmetics R&D process — from active and base ingredients and ingredient blends, to prototype chassis/formulas, finished formulas (indie, mass and prestige), testing methods/tools, commercial devices and digital technologies (e.g., wearables, software, platforms) for consumer users or businesses.
