Batana Oil for Hair Growth, Repair and Shine
According to the source Exploding Topics, interest in batana oil has grown in the past two years to reach approx. one million searches by May 2024. Reportedly renowned for its deep conditioning properties, it is said to effectively promote hair growth, repair damaged hair and improve overall hair health and shine, especially in dry, brittle or damaged hair.
Beauty Launchpad recently reported the oil is rich in vitamins A and E, which are what help to promote a healthy scalp and hair follicle. The oil also contains antioxidants to reduce stress on the scalp and increase hair count.
Cosmetic ingredient supplier Extracts Unlimited, LLC, offers an unrefined Batana Oil expressed from the fruit of the Elaeis oleifera plant, formed by the hybridization of palms. The company promotes the oil's benefits for both hair and skin, including moisturization and addressing split ends.
Copper Peptide and Tranexamic Acid Serum
Spate recently reported on the fastest-growing face serum products in the United States: copper peptide serum and tranexamic acid serum. Averaging 4.7 K monthly searches, copper peptide serum has seen a +68.3% increase in interest compared to last year.
This serum is popular for its ability to promote skin rejuvenation, reduce signs of aging and enhance overall skin appearance, per Spate. Reportedly, Biossance’s Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum and The Ordinary’s Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% are among the top searches.
See archived article on squalane.
We've seen mention of tranexamic acid (TXA) several times before. Per Spate, TXA serum averages 1.2 K monthly searches and has seen a +64.6% growth in interest compared to last year. This serum is known for reducing hyperpigmentation and evening out skin tone.
According to Spate, however, this trend has very few specifically branded searches, indicating that no single brand has yet claimed the title of the best TXA serum. Consumers are also frequently searching for reviews, suggesting they want to learn more about this serum, presenting a significant opportunity for brands to educate consumers about the ingredient.
Kisy косметика Shampoo and Hair Balm
Google Trends found that searches on "Kisi" and "Kisy" cosmetics (in Russian, per Google Translate) are up +750% and +500%, respectively. While not headlines stand out for this brand, a recent Instagram post on the brand's page (with 73K + followers) featured an "unboxing" of the brand's shampoo and "hair balm" products.
Sold through a third-party site (and through an app but we didn't download this), the Kisy Hair Shampoo is (per Google Translate): said to impart recovery, nutrition and hydration for hair. Ingredients are incorporated to lock in moisture to improve elasticity. After shampooing, use of the Kisy Hair Balm is recommended, to impart nutritive benefits for hair.
