AI Perfume, 'Sensory AI' Meta Trend
According to Exploding Topics, interest in AI perfume is on the upswing - a trend was identified previously. AI perfume refers to fragrance designed and created using artificial intelligence, and it's grown 405% in Google search volume to 1K, in the past two years. Per the source, software solutions such as Moodify White are supporting the likes of Procter & Gamble to enhance fragrance development "by improving product design and accelerating time to market." Perfumer & Flavorist+ reported that Moodify White is said to be the world’s first artificial intelligence-based (AI) algorithmic malodor control formulation application to mask malodor and enable a "quick, highly effective and component-flexible malodor control formulation process."
In relation, as previously reported, EveryHuman provides a service they call “algorithmic perfumery," wherein the company's algorithm analyzes consumer responses to questions to create a personalized perfume. In addition, Google’s Cloud team is working on “digitizing smell” using AI, per the source. AI perfume is said to be part of a "Sensory AI" meta trend, for which searches have grown 380% over the past 24 months.

Turmeric Face Scrub and Targeting Hyperpigmentation
According to Spate, among the fastest-growing facial exfoliants are turmeric face scrubs. Turmeric has seen a surge in popularity, with an average of 1.1K monthly searches and a +92.6% increase in searches compared to the previous year, per the source. The ingredient is well-known for anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties and has been used to treat acne, reduce inflammation, brighten the skin and address hyperpigmentation, among other uses; it has been previously referred to as an all-purpose ingredient.
Spate cites concerns over hyperpigmented spots as a driver for the rise in queries for turmeric face scrub. This presents an opportunity for brands to introduce novel formats such as turmeric face pads, which per Spate, are gaining traction on TikTok, with a +209.4% year-over-year growth.
One example is Sugar Baby's Glow Wash Brightening Foaming Face Wash + Turmeric and Kojic Acid. According to the brand, the product banishes dullness and dark spots for a luminous, even complexion in as little as four weeks, based on a consumer study in 77 participants.
Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Rose Water, Glycerin, Decyl Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Curcuma Longa Root (Turmeric) Extract, Kojic Acid, Lemon Peel Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Tetrasodium EDTA.
