Symrise Cosmetic Ingredients has announced Savelite HB (INCI: Not Provided), a multifunctional, readily biodegradable hydroxypropolyester that can protect all types of cosmetic products targeting normal to sensitive skin.
The antimicrobial ingredient is a clear, colorless and odorless liquid that enhances product protection by acting against microorganisms and oxidation. As a cold-processable ingredient, it allows for easy handling, per the company.

The ingredient also acts as a moisturizer and can help stabilize emulsions by reducing oil droplet size, per the company.
