Sustainability when it comes to cosmetics packaging is perhaps one of the biggest points of scrutiny by consumers. But beauty companies have begun to move the needle. Our sister brand, Global Cosmetic Industry, highlighted NielsenIQ’s 2023 Sustainable Beauty report finding that “62% of consumers find sustainability more pivotal today than two years ago," and that beauty has experienced a 64% increase in searches for refillable options, impacting sectors such as color cosmetics, deodorants and skin care.
