Aliona Cosmetics and Lash Serum
According to Google Trends, searches on "Aliona Cosmetics" and variations thereof, especially for the brand's lash serum, are up "significantly" in the past seven days. In fact, of the top 15 queries, it took up 12 slots.
A recent interview with Harpers Bazaar Arabia introduced the 24-year old beauty enthusiast, Saudi-based creator and "social media sensation" (3+ million followers), Aliona, and highlighted her product. She explained that the Lash & Brow Growth Serum is the result of her personal attempt to grow her lashes with different serums, mixes and concoctions. The final formula is based on peptides and vitamins, "instead of hormones or only moisturizing agents," she stated.
According to the Aliona Cosmetics website, the main active is a three amino-acid peptide that stimulates collagen and keratin, resulting in reduced hair loss and making the eyelashes appear longer, fuller and stronger while promoting hair growth much as 121%.
Other highlighted ingredients include:
- myristoyl hexapeptide-16 (and) myristoyl pentapeptide-17, to increase eyelash length;
- biotin (vitamin B7), to stimulate new cell growth;
- Rosmarinus officinalis leaf extract, to increase circulation and aid in hair growth; and
- niacinamide (vitamin B3) (and) panthenol (vitamin B5), to smooth, moisturize and provide critical nutrients to hair.

Glaminatrix Cosmetics' 'Barely Basic' Color Palette
Searches on "Glaminatrix Cosmetics" are up 200% in the past week, Google Trends reports. This is likely due to the launch of the brand's new "Barely Basic" color palette. The palette is said to include four "sparkly, iridescent, duochrome toppers," in addition to four "intense metallics" and 12 "smooth pigmented mattes."
Founded by makeup artist Kaela Winning in 2017, the Australian-based brand is promoted as vegan, cruelty free, handmade, "elevated cosmetics with a unique flair.

This product can be described as a type of cream blush designed to "melt into the skin." Such products are intended for easy application, offer nourishing properties and provide a natural, radiant look with minimal effort.
An example blush balm is About-Face's Cheek Freak Blush Balm, described as lightweight and ultra creamy, gliding onto skin for buildable coverage. Per the company, the "transformative, cushiony formula melts onto skin for a diffused, natural finish." The product includes hyaluronic acid and meadowfoam seed oil to nourish skin.
