Developed in response to consumer demand for natural and milder ingredients, Nouryon's Structure M3 (INCI: Sodium Hydrolyzed Corn Starch (and) Dodecenylsuccinate) maltodextrin-based co-surfactant offers a biodegradable cleansing solution that reduces the irritation potential of other surfactant systems.

Designed for sustainability, the anionic, hydrophobically modified non-GMO ingredient is available as a waterless, free-flowing powder of high natural content (Natural Origin Index = 85). It is readily biodegradable, per OECD 301B2; cold-water processable; and compatible with both sulfate- and sulfate-free surfactant systems.

The polysaccharide technology is applicable in a wide range of personal care formulations, supporting foaming in shampoo, facial cleanser and body wash formulations.
