The Independent Beauty Association (IBA) has added Marcha Chaudry, attorney and founder of The Equity and Wellness Collaborative (EWC), to its Board of Directors for the 2024-2025 term.

Advancing Compliance, Equity in the Cosmetics Industry
Chaudry brings a wealth of knowledge in regulatory compliance and a "steadfast commitment to advancing equity, well-being and excellence in the cosmetics industry," per IBA.
As founder of the EWC, Chaudry reportedly has been instrumental in providing expert guidance in regulatory compliance, program development and advocacy; her extensive experience also ensures businesses meet the highest standards of equity, safety and compliance.
Navigating Cosmetic Policies
Before establishing EWC, Chaudry played an influential role in shaping cosmetic policy, providing expert testimony before Congress and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and advocating for marginalized groups and enhanced cosmetic safety regulations.
