"I've said it before and I'll say it again, C&T must move dynamically with the cosmetics market to remain relevant, which includes onboarding diverse experts with new views and insights for product development," said Rachel Grabenhofer, managing scientific editor. "Danilo brings a new energy to our existing foundation of knowledge, with his (almost) two decades of experience in product ideation and development. If you've ever seen his LinkedIn formulating video demos, you know what I mean."
Lambino founded his formulating consultancy, Formulae8, in 2008. He holds a master's degree in material science and engineering from the University of New South Wales in Sydney.
Lambino describes himself as passionately engaged in creative and entrepreneurial technology, product and brand development ventures in the beauty space. His work is focused on empowering ideas, transforming consumer insights and enabling new discoveries in ingredients, devices, emerging packaging trends and novel delivery systems.
He is also the recipient of a 2010 International Technology Award from C&T (now the C&T Allē Awards) for an innovative melanin spot technology demo kit demonstrating a client's efficacy in directly fading melanin.
"I truly appreciate the spirit Danilo brings to us," added Grabenhofer. "His creative vision will not only help to keep C&T on top of emerging product concepts, but also guide us as we research new formats to deliver critical and inspiring content to our audience."
