Biosyntia reports that, for the first time, a cosmetic ingredient has been proven in vivo to boost fatty acid and ceramide content in skin after one month of use. EraGlow Beautin (INCI: Aqua/Water (and) Glycerin (and) Ethanol (and) Lecithin (and) Biotin (0.2%) (and) Potassium Carbonate) is the company's fermented, vectorized natural Bio-B7 biotin (INCI: Biotin), whose liposomal encapsulation improves its delivery over free biotin. This increased penetration demonstrates clinically significant effects.
For example, per the company, since biotin is a key cofactor in the synthesis of essential lipids and fatty acids, by boosting these elements, EraGlow Beautin improves skin elasticity, radiance and brown spots. It also helps to maintain and increase skin's water content, reinforcing the barrier.

Clinically Effective Results
According to Biosyntia, after 28 days of treatment with EraGlow Beautin, an average 30% increase in ceramides and fatty acids in the outermost layer of the stratum corneum was observed in 23 subjects. In addition, a 14.5% increase in skin gloss parameters was recorded.
Furthermore, a 3% reduction in brown spots was observed, demonstrating the skin brightening potential of the ingredient.
In vitro, the liposomal natural biotin also showed strong antioxidant effects, with up to 45% ROS reduction.
Sustainable Production, Ease of Use
EraGlow Beautin by Biosyntia is produced using a proprietary sustainable GMP fermentation process of plant carbohydrates sourced in Europe that, according to the company, drastically removes the use of petrochemicals. It also reduces CO2 emissions and energy and water consumption to produce a highly pure natural biotin.
The ingredient is preformulated with Biosyntia's Bio-B7 biotin and is said to easily incorporate into emulsions and serums, even at a high use level. It is positioned as an elegant solution for holistic anti-aging, brightening, and protective beauty products.
The product is compliant with Chinese regulations and its ISO16128 natural origin index is 1.
