SmartSKN has entered into a $7 million deal with LillyCover that grants SmartSKN exclusive rights to introduce LillyCover’s AI-driven on-demand skin care production robots to the U.S. market, combining K-beauty with AI skin care personalization technology.
SmartSKN has leveraged AI technology to create three new skin care lines, all formulated with Korean, plant-powered ingredients. The new lines from SmartSKN are fully customizable and include:
- K-AI: a personalized product line created by using real-time data from AI skin analysis.
- K-Own: consumers can create their own products with guidance from SmartSKN's AI through an interactive web platform.
- K-Pro: designed for professionals, this service allows estheticians and dermatologists to co-create formulas with SmartSKN's AI to deliver custom Korean skin care to clients.
SmartSKN is attempting to make waves within the cosmetic industry through robotics-driven, AI on-demand manufacturing of the new product lines to help minimize production waste and overproduction.
SmartSKN claims that this approach meets the growing consumer demand for eco-friendly solutions, paving the way for a more sustainable future within the beauty industry.
Val Neicu, CEO of SmartSKN, says, "These three lines represent a dramatic shift in the beauty industry. We're not just creating products; we're building a future where AI, personalization and sustainability converge to empower consumers and skin care professionals alike.”
Neicu adds, "We're setting the stage for AI skin care to become the norm, offering products tailored to each individual's unique needs, moving the industry away from a one-size-fits-all solution.”
