Applications include anti-aging products.

The ingredient's delivery system, Vegan DDS, ensures greater penetration into the skin and efficacy even at lower doses, per the company.
Per the company, the ingredient leads to a recovery of 123.61% in collagen and 111.18% in elastin due to aging, in both cases 3.7 times more than free retinal, within the skin.
The encapsulated retinal allows the active to be shielded from degredation and offers extended release and well as increased bioavailability, color stability and biomimetic action, per the company.
