Vytrus Biotech has launched a vitamin D enhancer, Nectaria Lithops (INCI: Lithops Pseudotruncatella Callus Lysate (and) Glycerin (and) Pentylene Glycol (and) Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba (Guar) Gum (and) Xanthan Gum (and) Phytic Acid (and) Water (Aqua)).

According to the company, vitamin D levels are decreased due to consumer lifestyles, mainly in-house habits and increased sun protection. As such, Nectaria Lithops is a natural active designed to increase the production of vitamin D by epidermal cells to strengthen, revitalize and increase skin's glow. Further details were not disclosed.

The plant-based active also reportedly imparts skin dewiness and glow, deep hydration and microcirculation.
