Silube Sustain 4316 (INCI: Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone) is an improved sustainability, alkyl functional silicone polyether water-in-oil (invert) emulsifier. The ingredient’s polyether and alkyl components are derived from plant sources rather than petroleum-based feedstocks. Silube Sustain 4316 has a biobased carbon content in excess of 73%, as measured in accordance with ASTM D6866.
