The Society of Cosmetic Scientists will host an interactive residential course in introductory cosmetic science in winter 2008. Principles and Practice of Cosmetic Science will take place on Feb. 10–15, 2008, in Bournemouth, United Kingdom.
According to the society, the course is based around a compelling and challenging product development exercise and will provide the most up to date information in order to maximize the learning experience.
The course is particularly suited for scientists with a few years of technical experience; however the course also benefits those holding the SCS Diploma or graduates in cosmetic science, those transferring into the cosmetic industry from an allied industry, those needing a refresher course after a career break, those intending to move to managerial or supervisory roles and those working in groups to complete cosmetic projects.
