Sabinsa’s founder, Muhammed Majeed, Ph.D., was honored with the Times Business Awards Lifetime Achievement award (Posthumous) for his exemplary contributions to nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals and Philanthropy in a ceremony in Bengaluru, India on June 21, 2024.
Anju Majeed, Ph.D., Sami-Sabinsa Group executive chairperson, and Shaheen Majeed, global managing director, CEO of Sami-Sabinsa Group, received the award honoring their father.

Presenting the award was Indian actor and director Anupam Kher, who commented: “The passing of Dr. Majeed in March 2024 was a profound loss to the industry. Their unwavering commitment to their father's vision is a testament to the enduring spirit of the Sami-Sabinsa Group.”
