Sabinsa’s founder, Muhammed Majeed, Ph.D., was honored with the Times Business Awards Lifetime Achievement award (Posthumous) for his exemplary contributions to nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals and Philanthropy in a ceremony in Bengaluru, India on June 21, 2024.
Anju Majeed, Ph.D., Sami-Sabinsa Group executive chairperson, and Shaheen Majeed, global managing director, CEO of Sami-Sabinsa Group, received the award honoring their father.

Presenting the award was Indian actor and director Anupam Kher, who commented: “The passing of Dr. Majeed in March 2024 was a profound loss to the industry. However, his legacy continues to shine brightly, carried forward by his daughter, Dr. Anju Majeed, who now serves as the group executive chairperson, and his son, Mr. Shaheen Majeed, who has taken up the mantle as the global managing director and CEO. Their unwavering commitment to their father's vision is a testament to the enduring spirit of the Sami-Sabinsa Group.”
