The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials Inc. (RIFM) has appointed Madhuri Singal, PhD, to respiratory scientist. Singal will replace Daniel Isola, who is retiring from the institute. Singal is a registered respiratory therapist, having obtained her doctorate in molecular toxicology and environmental medicine and her masters in environmental medicine from the University of Rochester.
In her new position, Singal will be responsible for the fragrance industry respiratory sciences program at RIFM, and reportedly will transition existing exposure and clinical studies to future areas of interest.
