The E.T. Horn Company, a leading distributor, supplier, marketer and manufacturer of specialty chemicals and food products, announced that Frank Reilly has been named vice president, innovation technology, for the company's nutraceuticals group. In this newly created position, Reilly will be responsible for managing the company's procurement, distributing and production of proprietary, science-based raw materials for marketers within the nutrition and OTC product industry.
"Frank has been instrumental in establishing E.T. Horn's leadership position within the North American nutraceuticals industry," said Patrick J. Marantette, president of the E.T. Horn Company, in a press statement. "Frank's keen sense of technology and his ability to identify unique proprietary ingredients, provide the foundation for E.T. Horn to continue to develop our nutraceutical business for the future."
A recent study by BCC Research projected worldwide nutraceutical product sales of $74.7 billion by 2007. Reilly has over 30 years experience within the food, pharmaceutical and OTC health care and nutrition industries. He joined the company in 2004. Prior to joining E.T. Horn, he held senior level sales, marketing and global business development positions with consumer and business-to-business health care companies.
