This invention describes a cell-penetrating peptide fused to a botulinum toxin recombinant protein. Further described is a composition enabling the transdermal delivery of said botulinum toxin recombinant protein for various local treatments of the skin.
The topical delivery of this composition provides the intrinsic effect of botulinum toxin with greater convenience of use, and can be effectively applied for the treatment of various diseases and aesthetic and/or cosmetic purposes.
