Mastertaste announces new executives in its Natural Products, Fragrace, and Flavors Divisions. Markus Eckert, PhD. joins Mastertaste's Flavors Division as vice president of technical for Flavors, North America.
Before Eckert took the vp position he was director of flavor technology and director of natural products and biotechnology at International Flavors and Fragrances. Most recently, Eckert was director of innovation for Flavors America for Danisco USA, Inc.
Juan Varela will also join Mastertaste as vice president of global key accounts for the company's Natural Products and Fragrance Divisions. Varela most recently worked for Symrise, although having worked with Haarmann & Reimer, and brings 15 years of international experience to the position.
Appointed vice president of business development of citrus products for Mastertaste's Natural Products Division is Ton Mesters, previously vice president of development for the company's Flavors Division.
