L’Oréal Announces Promotions

L’Oréal announced three promotions, first appointing David Waldock to the newly formed position of senior vice president of business and sales development for the consumer products division, L’Oréal USA, Inc., overseeing L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline New York, Garnier and SoftSheen-Carson divisions.

Waldock has served as an executive with the L’Oreal Paris sales team for more than 20 years, most recently working as its senior vice president of sales. His new responsibilities include introducing merchandising strategies, building partnerships through supply chain and consumer-oriented initiatives, developing business strategies and more.

“Dave’s dedication to the L’Oréal brand is an asset that cannot be over stated,” says Joseph J. Campinell, president of the consumer products division, L’Oréal USA. “His extensive knowledge of sales operations and well-respected management style have been instrumental to the growth of L’Oréal Paris in the U.S. Additionally, his leadership and strong strategic insight promise continued development for the L’Oréal Consumer Products Division.”

The L'Oréal Paris brand division of L'Oréal USA also announced Waldock’s replacement as vice president of sales. Coyle comes from a senior level management background for major retailers.

“In her new role, Lorraine will help take us to the next level in terms of enhancing our strategic retail partnerships,” says Carol Hamilton, president of L'Oréal Paris.

Replacing Coyle as vice president, national sales manager, L'Oréal Paris, is Jacquelyn Madsen, who has worked for the division for 22 years.
