A recently launched hair care line utilizes ionic crystals, mineral peptides and antioxidants to treat dry and over-processed hair. Ionic Balance is a new line by Jonathan Products that claims to be both vegan and sulfate free. The line features four products including a shampoo, conditioner, overnight oil spray and shine spray.
Tourmaline and amethyst are the ionic crystals formulated into the product reportedly to reduce static and enhance shine. Tourmaline also is said to give out infrared energy, which the company claims to increase circulation and promote hair growth. According to the company, it conceived of the idea of using ionic crystals based on the effects of straighteners and other styling tools.
