Light therapy has been available for a number of years in physicians’ offices to treat a variety a conditions. It has been reported that specific wavelengths of light through lasers and light-emitting diodes (LEDs) can improve some skin conditions. A group of researchers at the Dermatology and Lasers Clinic in Tel Aviv and Caesarea, Israel, reported that light therapy was an effective treatment for mild to moderate acne. Only recently, however, was light therapy reported to be an effective treatment for wrinkles.
