IMCD has announced the appointment of Tony Jaillot as group business director for personal care.
In his role, Jaillot will lead the Global IMCD Personal Care Business Group in establishing and driving the business strategy toward new growth markets in specialty ingredients distribution, as well as exploring new partnerships and business models.
Jaillot will be based at the IMCD offices in Paris and report to IMCD CEO Piet van der Slikke. He brings nearly 25 years of international/global business, strategy and management experience to the beauty industry including from his career, working for IMCD France.
Until recently, he served as the general manager for Cargill Beauty, where he gained in-depth industry knowledge working for various cosmetic ingredients companies such as BASF in the United States and Europe. Jaillot holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry and a masters in cosmetics, topped up with a global executive MBA from the business school INSEAD.
