Pira and Intertech have released the details of their upcoming Global Regulations for Cosmetics conference on November 8-9, 2006, in Prague, Czech Republic. According to the two companies, the conference will examine recent cosmetic legislation, including REACH, and will inform company leaders of how to adapt their formulations to comply with various worldwide legislation. Brand owners reportedly will be speaking on how to comply to regulations in a cost effective manner, while maintaining brand integrity.
The conference highlights will include the plan for legislative change, incorporating the seventh amendment, the impact of REACH, nanotechnology's effect on cosmetic regulation, research on innovative color additives, the latest developments in cosmetics testing, the safe removal of phthalates and the rise in organic cosmetics.
