Emma Meredith, Ph.D. is the director-general for the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA).
As director-general, Meredith is responsible for the strategic direction of CTPA and the public voice of the association, including providing comments and quotes for the media. Working with the Leadership Team, the team ensures that CTPA concentrates its time and efforts on the tasks and projects that deliver the biggest impact to our members, focussing on CTPA's four strategic pillars: Facilitate; Protect; Promote; Lead.
Meredith also leads the Association’s work focussing on the UK’s exit from the EU and the future UK landscape; external stakeholder engagement; and international relations.
Meredith represents the CTPA on several committees at Cosmetics Europe (CE) the European personal care association, including CE Board of Directors and the College of Active Association Members, and Meredith is a vice-chair of the Science Strategic Core Team.
