The Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association's (CTFA) Consumer Commitment Code seminar will take place on Nov. 9, 2006. The seminar is divided into two different themes. The first will discuss how the code affects the relationship between ingredient suppliers and ingredient purchasers with a focus on the safety information summaries. The second explores the relationship between private label manufacturers and marketers.
According to the association, the code impacts all sizes of companies. The seminar will focus on how the code affects ingredient suppliers, purchasers and private label manufacturers and formulation purchasers. Speakers will provide attendees with a description of the provisions in addition to safety information. They reportedly will also discuss approaches to implement the code.
