Seven Kosmetyki Car Cosmetics
This one might not be worth mentioning. Searches on Seven Kosmetyki (Polish "Seven Cosmetics") are up 2,300% in the past week, per Google Trends. This one's a stretch for our industry, since the trend appears to relate to a June 15, 2024, launch of "car cosmetics" (car detailing products) by Polish YouTuber and influencer Kamil "Buddha" Labudda, according to Mr. Cleaner (using Google Translate).
Per the source, Buddha created the Seven brand car cosmetics with his friend, Han. The products include: rim de-ironizer, shampoo, tire dressing, window cleaner, interior cleaner and quick detailer for paint and interior. While there's no clear connection to human beauty, imagining one is an interesting thought experiment, if nothing else. (Scalp polish, anyone?)
Maelys Cosmetics for Body/Booty Skin Lifting
Interest in Maelys Cosmetics is up 200% in the past week, also per Google Trends. The brand was recently featured in a story by Woman's World describing the "18 Best Skin Lifting Creams for Women, Plus Devices that Smooth and Plump." The source highly recommend checking out the skin care from Maelys Cosmetics for firming body areas. "They have creams for the breasts, belly and even one to firm thigh cellulite," it stated.
The brand's B-Tight Lift & Firm Booty Mask, in particular, was highlighted, which incorporates caffeine, clay and hyaluronic acid to plump and tighten skin for a firmer butt. Per the company, "the mask is clinically proven to visibly firm the skin around the booty and thighs," based on a 56-day clinical trial with 30 participants. Key ingredients called out include: collagen, hyaluronic acid, guarana seed extract (to "energize and refresh" skin) and pink pepperslim plant, to "smooth the look of fatty skin." The product retails for US $49.

Stain Makeup and Lip Liner 'Tattoo'
Searches on "stain makeup" are up 130% in the past week, per Google Trends. This could be thanks to a recent Huffington Post article entitled, "These Low-Maintenance TikTik-Viral Lips Stains are Practically Magic." According to the report, traditional lipsticks and glosses are viewed as "high maintenance" but lip tint or stain could be a more carefree alternative. A few brands catching the buzz on TikTok include Milk Makeup's Jelly Water Tint and Sacheu "Stay-N"-Peel Off Lip Tattoo.
