Retinol Serum
Common Heir's retinol reportedly has clinically proven benefits that are boosted by skin-smoothing botanicals to detox and visibly renew skin. In addition, squalane and algae oil nourish especially melanin-rich and sensitive skin. Each bottle includes 60 biodegradable vegan capsules.
To use the capsules, at night, consumers simply twist the tip off and gently squeeze the product onto the fingertips to massage it into clean and toned skin. The next morning, users cleanse skin before applying other actives, being sure to generously apply SPF and avoid sun exposure.
In six weeks, clinical tests showed that 88% of users said skin felt firmer, nourished and replenished after using the serum and 79% saw an improvement in dark spots, skin clarity and wrinkles.
Key ingredients in the product include:
- Retinyl linoleate: Increases collagen production and sheds dead skin faster for renewed, smoothed skin;
- Plant-derived squalane: Mimics skin's natural moisturizer whose production diminishes starting in around the age of 20; squalane absorbs deeply to protect the skin, reduce fine lines and promote a healthy microbiome;
- Astralagus: Popular in traditional Chinese medicine and anti-aging tonics, this root brings regenerative powers to the formula by boosting collagen while treating blemishes and inflammation;
- Algae oil: To help prevent the usual retinol purge as the skin renews, this oil provides a boost of hydration and moisture to support a healthy skin barrier; and
- Spilanthes acmella: Used in medicinal remedies, this plant acts as an antioxidant to protect against free radicals while reducing wrinkles and smoothing skin.
Vitamin C Serum
Common Heir's vitamin C serum provides visibly brighter skin, improved texture and silky-smooth hydration, delivered once again in biodegradable, vegan capsules to maximize its potency.
In a 6-week clinical study, 87% of users reportedly saw smoother, visibly brighter skin; 87% agreed skin felt more hydrated and looked healthier; and 82% experienced a visible improvement in texture and more even skin tone.
Key ingredients in the product include:
- Vitamin C: This concentrated vitamin C derivative is reportedly non-irritating, stable and effective as an anti-inflammatory and brightener;
- Marshmallow extract: This extract helps sensitive skin to achieve a healthy glow as it aids vitamin C in relieving redness and inflammation while locking in moisture;
- Vitamin E: This additional antioxidant aids vitamin C's stability and potency, and its ability to improve the skin's texture and firmness while protecting from UV damage; and
- Licorice root: This antioxidant-rich root helps to even skin tone and treats hyperpigmentation, fading dark spots while preventing new ones from forming.
