Clinique Laboratories, a brand of the Estée Lauder Companies has teamed up with pharmaceutical company Allergan to introduce a skin care line for the doctor's office. Clinique Medical is formulated to complement pre and post-treatment select cosmetic procedures such as laser treatments, chemical peels and microdermabrasion.
The product line is created to help healing the skin with ingredients such as turmeric root extracts, vitamin A, seawhip and ferulic acid to sooth the skin and manage low-level irritation. The line includes a probiotic cleanser, a skin conditioning treatment, a recovery week complex, a treatment cream, a sunscreen and a dry spot balm. It is sold in physician's offices in the United States, but the company reportedly is looking to expand the line internationally.
