Marina Arakelyan, President of the Armenian Union of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists, said in a press conference in Yerevan that it would be five years before the country caught up.
The Armenian Union of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists was founded in 1999, and the beauty industry in Armenia has been evolving since. According to Arakelyan, beauty shops must off premium services. Currently, L'Oreal is the only global beauty company represented in Armenia.
