Karen Kay has been named site leader for Angus Chemical Company's Sterlington, La., USA site. She will also assume the role of business manufacturing leader of Angus and Dow Biocides. Kay takes the place of Billy Duncan, who takes on a new role in the company's headquarters in Midland, Mich., USA. Kay has been with Angus since 1985, when she began her career as a process engineer for the company.
Angus has also named Mike Albano as global improvement leader. He is currently the Sterlington site maintenance and construction leader. Albano joined Dow in 1989 as a mechanical engineer. He has worked in a variety of manufacturing roles in several Plaquemine plants, including the propylene oxide, propylene glycol and ethylene oxide units.
